What would be a perfect pci express product?
What would be a perfect pci express product?
If thats the baggage, being you are an fix, a device to convert your pc to pci-e capability wouldnt sell hugely well considering the device would single run as good as its pci counterpart!
Video card
A Nvidia 8800Ultra is a correct PCI-express product.
But it is also $830 us.
One question first...Are you a dignified end gamer or a short time ago an average PC user?
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 / 128MB DDR / PCI / VGA / TV Out / Low Profile / Video Card is a good card for the average user and those who aren't into the elevated end first human being shooter games.
Visiontek Radeon X1300 / 256MB GDDR2 / PCI / DVI / HDTV / Video Card is good for graphics contained by games.
What an idea!
The PCI bus is VERRRRRRYYYY SLOW for graphics use. Putting an adapter in that is NOT a good model. It will just bottleneck/slow down any flawless graphics card and make gaming profusely miserable for the user.
A better marketing idea might be to simply bundle cheap boards (Sis or VIA w/ PCIe slots) w/ the graphics card and market it as a TOTAL Upgrade solution. Board and processor bundles are immediately common everywhere.
Well, lately an idea from an enthusiast w/ lots of PC components adjectives around me here at my PC shack.
