Why does my dvd+R not voice dvd rewriter and instead it say dvd run into?

OK so i turn to my computer right and instead of saying dvd reqriter it say dvd ram(D). And when i try to burn a cd with nero or anything program it single burns cds or sometimes it only read them but it doesnt burn. i enabled it to burn and look a dingoniose to see what was wrong beside it but nothing it say driver working properly. so can some one plz tell what is wrong next to it

If itz a true dvd burner..then yes surrounded by My Computer where it say devices with removable storage you should see the device as DVD-RAM Drive....that man clarified we move on.....



I have a similar problem once and i actually found out that the drive itself be faulty...i removed it from the PC took it subsidise to the store and got it exchanged since i just had it for 2 days...i strongly suspect that it conceivably the same problem that u're have...just a write down...the Lite-On drives are prone to this....at least within my experience thatz what I've found....Hope this helps ;)
you indicate DVD rom and it only plays DVDs it must be a DVD burner to burn disks
dvd+R is a one time blank. The R stands for Ram. you probably can't use it because you already used it.that's why you can't burn. You call for a dvd+rw to be able to burn more than once. the RW stands for Rewritable. Good Luck!
DVD writer n DVD Rom is different.



DVD Rom enable u to read DVD but not to burn DVDs.



DVD writer enables u to read & burn DVDs.



Your satchel is likely a DVD Rom & also compact disc writer. Thats y it enables u to write read n write CDs but solely can only read & not to burn DVDs.
