Which will work better near radiance 2 vista; a 8600 gts or a 7950 gt?

I would own to say that the 7950Gt would carry out better on Halo 2. From what I can see, the 7950gt will probably average an additional 10-15fps over the 8600gts.



But, the 8600gts will work better for the games that are nearly to to be released. Especially with the Direct X 10 support which the 7950 does not hold.



My choice would be the 8600 hands down. The lighting effects that DX10 allows is ample to make me start drooling.

while the 7950gt would present you better frame rates now, when you want to play a directx 10 activity you will need to upgrade again. bring the 8600 now and you won't have need of to upgrade in the completely near adjectives.
As 7950s are a little elder tech they have come down within price:

Buy two for a great SLI setup and upgrade to 8800 in a year or so : )
