Why can't I install webcam?

Tried installing, be disconnected, tried to continue, could not. Went to uninstall what might own been, but zilch.. Suddenly monitor black, etc. Turned off laptop. Tried again, started to install, again, nothing, consequently black screen. Disconnected notebook., returned, monitor as normal but still couldn't install. Checked everything i could (non techno here). Tried again twice, second time near new webcam... be going installing then, black monitor again. Have logitech 5000.

Have done diskclean and defrag.. Someone have suggested there is a block on any such install, is that possible? Please push for on everything here. Thank you very much

Why can't I install webcam?

Hi, what revision of Windows are you using? If Vista the problem is likely to be cause by the webcam's installation disk having be created before Vista come out and in that valise you would have to progress to the manufacturer's website to download the new driver that go with Vista. I hold just Googled it and this page seem to have them on it

The just thing that could block the installation is your firewall which i don't chew over so in this defence - however i would suggest you try and install it in other computer and if the problem still keep trying simply return it back and seize a new one righteous luck
