Is it because:
1. A driver or directory is needed to make the converter work?
2. The upright has to be both PS/2 and USB compliant surrounded by order for it to work next to the converter?
3. The converter is faulty?
The the ivories can work perfectly fine when connected via PS/2.
The converter looks approaching this but is yellow colour: http://images.tigerdirect.com/skuimages/...
Unknown device shown when connecting PS/2 the ivories to a USB port through a PS/2-to-USB converter.?
might its not compatible beside your systems usb port.
do you have a 2.0 usb.
the converter isnt matched to the mouse
3. or most promising
4. it is for a PS/2 mouse not keyboard,
5. try have the keyboard on converter hooked to the USB port prior to turning on the computer.
